Urgent
I got a
compaq presario m2000 laptop for a friend and windows decided to keep blue screening me, so I added linux via c.d. However as i needed to free up the cd drive i tried to put it into my laptop hdd. Now it wont start via either. sais init kill or some thing just cant get it going. And the repair disc keeps finding errors then fianally doing nothing until asking for login name, aint got a clue why. its frustrating. there are choices to boot from in puppy via f2 and f3 etc, and options on the repair disc so maybe im doing the wrong choice. realisticly id like to take it out and start again. |
Poorly titled thread as it is not urgent to the volunteers here although it may be to you. You will probably get a number of responses along this line.
Is this one of the versions of Puppy Linux? You need to clarify which. Also, just stating Linux isn't of much help as there are over 500 Linux distributions. Quote:
