Use your xp disk to boot the system and re-write the mbr (master boot record) and then you'll have to re-install Linux.

When you post messages, can you make sure the thread subject summarises your error, not just "urgent". You need to give a short summary of your problem so that people understand what your thread is about.;)

You can also use a winme or 98 boot disk. When you get to the command prompt, just type

fdisk /mbr
