Upgrading LMDE?

I'm getting the following error when running apt-get upgrade. Can someone help me understand what the problem is?

ImportError: /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/pycurl.so: undefined symbol: _PyTrash_thread_destroy_chain
dpkg: error processing mint-debian-mirrors (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
mint-debian-mirrors
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Thanks

That seems to be the problem. At a guess, itś some garbage collection routine and there seem to be regular issues with it. Have you googled it?
