Upgrade to Suse 10.0
My first try at Linux using Suse 9.1 was a total mess. I only read great reviews for it and how easy it was to install. After I tried to install it I was rudely introduced to the dual boot problem that I can't seem to over come after 3 days of trying. If I were to try Suse 10.0 would I experence the same dual booting problem or has it been fixed. And are there any more problems I should be aware of.

Please explain the "dual boot problem".
Also, include the contents of /etc/fstab and /boot/grub/menu.lst. Dual boot problems usually boil down to inconsistencies between those two files. More specifically, something in menu.lst doesn't agree with something else in fstab. It would also help if you told us what the 'other' operating system is that you're trying to dual boot with SuSE. |
Are these the same problems as in your other thread maparus? or are they different ones ???
