Upgrade to RH 9 cannot mount /boot

I am trying to upgrade to RH 9 from RH 8, the installer errors out and says "cannot mount /boot" The /boot is ext2 fs. Is this my problem?

dunno. I'm using mandrake, but I use a seperate /boot partition so before I can do anything I have to su to root and then mount /dev/hda2 (it doesn't like me trying to mount /boot either). Then do anything I want to do.

Might not help much but hey, who know's
