upgrade to kde 3.3 problems

I've upgraded to kde3-3 it's just that now i lost all my icons, taskbar or menu, i only see the kde wallpaper after i see the image that says loading peripherals and all the otehr things for kde 3.3. Could somehow point me to what I am doing wrong? I've upgraded using rpms with yast2 --install after someone on this forum told me how.

I managed to get it working. I did a rpm -qa | grep kde as I read somewhere on this forum and I saw that I had quite a few files from the 3.2 version (it gave me some errors while upgrading to kde3.3 with yast). So i uninstaled them with rpm -e <name> from the end of the list, going up and then i did rpm -Uhv for the rpm files with the same name but for version 3.3. It took a while but it worked!
