My 2 cents, adding memory might improve the performance.

But if the user likes to open a hundred or more tabs in the browser, then I guess adding memory will be not noticeable at all.

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't even think of it. I've been looking now and alot of places have the same exact sodimm chips albeit not crucial for about 8. I've just put a bid on one close to me where the postage is free. Most of the others postage are dearer than the memory! I owe you a drink!
