Upgrade GNU make 3.80 to 3.81
 
Hi..anybody could tell me on how to upgrade GNU make 3.80 to 3.81..
and 3.81 into 3.80..Thanks..

What distribution are you using?

What is your reason for needing to update?

I don't know exactly that distribution that you are talking I'm just a newbie..

The only reason that i need to upgrade GNU make..Cause I have some application that works in GNU make 3.80 but on 3.81 it doesn't work..

"Distribution" means 'GNU Linux OS' or 'Linux OS' in Linux context.

The command : 'cat /etc/release' or 'cat /etc/redhat-release'
will show the name of your 'Linux OS'.

Thanks...now i know what is that distribution..I' using CentOS release 4.7..
anyway I already had the solution..i just download GNU version here and install it.
