Smile upgrade amarok on slackware-14.2

Hello, I am trying to upgrade amarok-2.8.0 to amarok-2.9.0 on slackware-14.2. I have read KDE bugfixes and how to use my modular KDE.SlackBuild about building individual KDE modules. I have created /tmp/kde/ and downloaded the slackware source tree for KDE there with wget. I had to clean out a lot of unwanted html stuff 'cause I didn't know how to tell wget to ignore. I have created /tmp/kde/modules/amarok containing the string amarok, /tmp/kde/slack-desc/amarok cantaing original amarok slack-desc, and put amarok-2.9.0.tar.xz in /tmp/kde/src/.

In /tmp/kde/ I run
Code:
PRECHECK=yes ./KDE.SlackBuild amarok
but I fail at 10% with this
Code:
[ 10%] Building CXX object src/CMakeFiles/amaroklib.dir/playlist/proxymodels/SortAlgorithms.cpp.o
/tmp/kde-build/amarok/amarok-2.9.0/src/playlist/proxymodels/SortAlgorithms.cpp: In member function ‘bool Playlist::multilevelLessThan::operator()(const QAbstractItemModel*, int, int) const’:
/tmp/kde-build/amarok/amarok-2.9.0/src/playlist/proxymodels/SortAlgorithms.cpp:98:21: error: expected primary-expression before ‘__attribute__’
                     __attribute__ ((fallthrough));
                     ^
src/CMakeFiles/amaroklib.dir/build.make:2712: recipe for target 'src/CMakeFiles/amaroklib.dir/playlist/proxymodels/SortAlgorithms.cpp.o' failed
make[2]: *** [src/CMakeFiles/amaroklib.dir/playlist/proxymodels/SortAlgorithms.cpp.o] Error 1
CMakeFiles/Makefile2:1265: recipe for target 'src/CMakeFiles/amaroklib.dir/all' failed
make[1]: *** [src/CMakeFiles/amaroklib.dir/all] Error 2
Makefile:138: recipe for target 'all' failed
make: *** [all] Error 2
amarok failed to build.

You'll need to run the "mysql-embedded.build" script before Amarok will compile.
That's an old post. Is it relevant anymore? Slackware-14.2 comes with mariadb now instaed of mysql. The official mariadb.SlackBuild has:
Code:
# To reduce the package size, the embedded server may be omitted. Currently
# only amarok uses this. To build without embedded support, set this to NO.
EMBEDDED=${EMBEDDED:-YES}
which to me means mariadb shouldn't need rebuilding. Can anybody help? Thanks
