updating to suse linux 10


i have 2 desktops one with winxp one with suse 8.1 personal trying to get sled 10 but have not been able to downlaoded isos are in documents on linux machine i cant get k3b to open or write the iso to disk it keeps crashing i have ordered the disks but i want to be able to run from downloads in future and want to learn all linux to replace microsoft

Welcome to LQ,

So hopefully the new SLED will solve the problems. But..., what error does it give and what is the hardware, has linux found the drive correctly???

We need a bit of info to help out
