updated to java6, can't connect to jirc/jchat

I am using Kubuntu 7.04, and everything was working great until I updated java.

Now, when I try to go into any chatroom that uses jirc/jchat, it won't connect.

It just hangs at "connecting ***.***.*** 1234"

Any ideas?

Thanks.
