update firefox on kubuntu

I just installed kubuntu and now i want to install firefox when I open the terminal window as root user and I type apt-get install mozilla-firefox he installs the 1.07 version how can i update this version to the 1.5

Try downloading the official version from and then removing the kubuntu version before installing it. I've heard that works, but haven't tried it.
