up2date + GRUB tomfoolery

Hey, should be a quickie:

I got an updated kernel when I ran up2date just a bit ago - now when I boot up, GRUB lists both the old kernel and the new one. Is there something like the Windows boot.ini file I can open up and comment out the old version?

Thanks!
