unusual high cpu and system load after installing reddit

After installing reddit, my ubuntu stuck with high cpu usage and system load.

Code:
  PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
 8634 reddit    20   0 12180 8960 2572 R 12.1  0.9   0:00.51 paster

 8612 reddit    20   0 23204  17m 3908 R 11.5  1.7   0:00.95 paster

Yes, the script that I used for installing made a new user, "reddit" although I am not sure if the problem is because of that !

Also, these packages are installed,

Quote:
g++ python-dev python-setuptools python-profiler python-imaging cython git-core subversion libpng12-dev libjpeg62-dev libfreetype6-dev libxml2-dev libxslt1-dev gettext memcached postgresql postgresql-client libpqxx-dev libssl-dev curl daemontools daemontools-run rabbitmq-server haproxy libmemcached5 libmemcached-dev cassandra
