Hi all,


can someone let me know what is the difference between UMASK and UNMASK?

umask is used to unmask certain bits. usually used to set file creation mask.

umask is a command to do "unmark" action.

running umask alone will return current umask value.

ur are right about UMASK and i do know that, but what i want to know is what is command 'UNMASK' and how is it different from UMASK?
