Unix Installation via the internet? Suggestions?

I have a fairly fast internet connection but no CD rewriter to burn iso files onto, thought today it might be possible to install linux on my computer with it taking the files needed from a webserver and not a cdrom?
is this even possible, and what distributions offer this service? and if theres more than one, which is easiest to use?

i would like to try out slackware, previous linux experience with ubuntu, redhat, mandriva/mandrake, and very little with suse. Would like to have a go with BSD

The hardest part is getting it to boot. You could look into Ubuntu ShipIT where they good people at Canonical will send you free Ubuntu CDs.

thanks for your quick response mate, but i have plenty of ubuntu cd's. maybe i should have worded my question better, sorry just got home from a extremely hot day in the kitchen!

i'm looking first to be able to install slackware onto my computer via the internet.

if this isnt possible, what other distributions allow you to install a OS with the internet connection as the only required media?

If you have a USB drive, this article might point you in the right direction.
