Universal Environment Path SET


How can I set/add to the environment path for all users on my linux box ?

In the file /etc/profile (You need to be root):

PATH = /new/directory/to/be/added:$PATH
export PATH

Now, you should be able to type: "source /etc/profile", and the new directory will be added to the path of all users.
