Uninstalling Redhat Linux :(

Ok, I have had problems, and I'm not quite smart enough yet to do stuff with linux, also My XP partition won't work, and I can't get it to.

SO

I've decided to give everything a clean sweep by formatting Both my XP and linux drives

But it can't just be that easy cus that wouldn't be challenging enough.

My drives are as follows
hda - is my Linux HDD
hdb1 - my files drive, I NEVER want this to get formatted, cus it has not backed up stuff on it
hdb2 - My XP partition

I Want to reformat all of hda, and also hdb2.

There's also some difficulties - My XP cd doesn't work as a boot disc, but my 98 one does, so I have to install 98 first.

And I also dont' have a boot disc for either XP or 98. I also Cannot download the XP bootdisc, as I only have one disc lying around.

Please help... Please >.<

So what do you want help with? Sounds like you need to buy some disks before you can do anything.

Do you have more than 1 cdrom drive? If so, could you not boot from the Win98 install CD, cd over to the XP install CD and install like that? It should work exactly the same as if you used a 98 boot floppy... or just pop your RedHat Cd in the drive and install that and never think about Windows again! No, seriously. If you cannot install Windows at this point, why not try living without it for a couple of weeks.

Take a look here :
http://www.bootdisk.com/

But you will need a floppy.
