Uninstalling package apps
How do I uninstall a single app (x eyes -- so annoying) if it was installed through a KDE pacakge (kdelinks)? In the past I've only had to uninstall stuff I've installed myself from rpms. Could I just remove the whole kdelinks package because I don't think I'd really miss it (GNOME not installed at all)? Thanks.

you can remove whatever you want. for kde, all that is *required* to run the desktop is arts, qt, kdelibs and kdebase. everything else is optional.
btw, xeyes ( the base x11 one) comes with Xorg

Oh yeah, you're right. xeyes is included in the x11 base package. So, I obviously can't remove that, so how can I remove the app alone. As I said ^, I've only uninstalled using rpm -e

I've been reading up on possible solutions --
Would it work if I used the explodepkg to extract the package contents into a directory, removed the apps I didn't want (xeyes....grrrr), and then remade the package with makepkg?
