Hi, as you can understand I am a newbie my question is "is there anyway to remove lilo/grub from my computer... fdisk /mbr didn't work? My OS is WinXP... Thanks a lot!
Go to the windowsXP help and look up "recovery console" (you need your windows disks). There's a procedure to install it on your system (that's what I did, but I think you can run it off the CD as well). Then restart the computer and type the command:
fixmbr
Then cross your fingers. Good luck!
For the record, I only uninstalled linux there are hardware problems that I only want to deal with later. Plus it makes me feel more "in control".
