Uninstalling Linspire and installing xp

I have never used linspire, and don't want to really. I bought a computer for my mom with it, and she only knows xp. What I am looking for is a step by step instruction set to uninstall linspire and install xp.

Thanks,
Ryan

You might be underestimating your mother.

Why not give her a few days to try out Linspire? Rather than stick her with an unstable, problem ridden pseudo OS?

Otherwise:

1. Fork out the Microsoft Tax.
2. Insetrt CD in CDROM.
3. Boot from CDROM
4. Follow the prompts, choose to Partition and Format
5. Go through the hassle of activation.
6. Download all the critical Patches.
7. Install Antivirus, antispyware.
8. Visit your mum often to clean up the messes.

If that doesnt work, goto your Hard Drive manufacuter site, get the utility disk to format it completly and change ur file system to NTFS or FAT32, then reboot with the xp cd and follow the simple instructions. Shouldnt be to much of a problem to do fairly simple.

ps davcefia. that made me laugh lol
