uninstalling grub on windows xp
 
could anyone tell me how to uninstall the grub/lilo boot loader? It was installed in the MBR so when i try to uninstall linux, i can't access windows.

put in a windows boot floppy and run fdisk /mbr

Use the XP install CD and boot to recovery mode, then use fixmbr utility to remove grub/lilo

nice one. i didn't know about that utility. haven't really used xp much. nice to know just the same.
