Uninstalling Apache2

Hi guys,

Well i've just moved from Windows to linux & so far so good. Except i installed the wrong version of Apache & i'm not sure how to uninstall it so i can install the older version which i need.

I installed from source with:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache2
make install

If anyone can help i promise i'll get good quick & help out with the answering :-)

Uh... I haven't compiled anything for a few months, and my experience before that was less than 10 programs, but I think the command you are looking for is 'make uninstall'.

If that doesn't work, you could try 'make clean', but I think that is supposed to be for removing temporary file made during the install.
