uninstalling a program
Ok here is the newbie question of the day. I come from the wonderful world of Windows and am playing around with Linux for a firewall.
Anyway, my question is two-part. First, I'm using Mandrake 8.1 and I've installed a trial version of an Anti-virus program. I want to uninstall this program, how do I do that? The program is RAV Anti-virus, if that helps at all. Second, I've installed another program and it created it's own shortcut off the main menu, but when I go to click on it, nothing happens, any ideas? Thanks in advance, have a great day! |
How the "anti-virus" soft came in, as an rpm or a tarball. What is the second program is, and where are you trying to access it in GNOME or KDE?
