Uninstalling a package

I have a fedorea core 3 distro. iI installed the OSS (open sound system).
lLater i built 2.6.11.8 from source and configured ALSA sound support.
However, OSS seems to diable my ALSA modules according to the /etc/modprobe.conf file.

QUestions:
1. How do I unistall a package that came with an install script?

Thanks,

Yossi

Did you try 'make uninstall'?

The OSS came with oss-install script. It does not accept any options. It was not build from scratch and therefore I do ntot have a makefile.
