Uninstall Variety Wallpaper Changer - widgets still load
 
Hi,

I've just uninstalled variety using

Code:
"sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove variety"

"sudo apt-get purge variety"
yet the desktop widgets (clock and quote of the day) are still loading on boot. Is there something else i need to do?

The widgets came with Variety, so just assumed it would go upon uninstall. I cant see a running process in Monitor either.

Using Elementary Juno.

Just changed the wallpaper and the widgets disappeared! - how strange.

The were probably running in RAM. When you changed the wallpaper without using this Variety thingee, they got flushed from RAM.
