I don't quite understand about 'start net in old ubuntu' - which do you want to keep?

GParted is a nice program that'll let you repartition your hard drives, so you can delete an Ubunutu partition and expand the old one to use up the space. IF YOU'RE NOT SURE WHAT YOU'RE DOING, ASK FOR HELP - GParted can (and will) erase all your important data, if you tell it to.

thanks John G.

I am not familiar with linux. I just started using Ubuntu. that's why i wrote 'i am new with linux. how to start using the same.'

As i mentioned, after repalcement of motherboard ubuntu is not detecting the settings of adsl modem, so i reinstalled ubuntu again. Now, the recently installed ubuntu is not getting loaded properly, so i want to uninstall the same and with the ubuntu which i have previously using i want to run net.
