Hi cristipodaru!!!

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.org. The first thing you have to do is to ask the company where you bought your PC, for the root password. They should have given it for you right away(perhaps they did, together with those tiny little manuals that we never read :D). But oh well :).

Anyway, to take away the hole Redhat (give it a shot first, you might like it...) simply put the WindowsXP CD on the drive, make sure that you bios is set to boot-CD and that is it, WinXP and 2k has a nice tool for creating partitions and they are exceptionally good for removing Linux too :D

Look if your bios is able to boot from cd first.

Put Your CD in the drive and start up from cd.

Windows will do the rest.

What about grubs?

What happend with the boot selector ... Grubs?

If I delete the partition with Linux, I will lose inclusive the boot system with XP...

I fell once in this error...

Then you've a lot of options to restore the Windows boot loader. The one that _always_ works for me is placing a Win98 boot disk (if you don't have one, you can create, download from the net or ask a friend), then boot the computer with that disk and at the prompt, type:

C:\> fdisk /MBR

Next time you reboot, it should work normally. Another option is, with win2k/xp, boot with the disk and start the installation as usual. Later, you will be prompted to install or repair. Choose repair, then command line. When at the command line, use "fixboot" to restore the MBR.

I just used the second method once, since the first one always works for me, regardless the Operating System I want to fix (win98, 2k, xp) ;)
