If i dont have my external disk plugged in when i boot, i get "Grub error 21" so i cant boot anything (i can boot cd's)

Grub error 21 : Selected disk does not exist

That means Grub was told to load a file from an external disk that is no longer available.

Do you have a problem to follow the steps for Post #11? I know it works as I have done both CDs with it. What you need is just the fdisk.exe that boots from a CD.
