uninstall fedora7


hi,
i need to uninstall fedora7 without losing win xp prof (which is
dual booted)

installed fedora on last partition
my partitions-- 120gb
c:\windows 20gb
d,e,f,g(each 20gb)

/boot,swap,root (remaining )

r there any ideas??

Just format the Linux partition, you can even do it from within XP. If you have GRUB, however, you'll have a bit of a problem: it will still be there after formating so you won't be able to boot into XP. This can be solved by getting an XP install cd, booting in repair/rescue mode and using the command fixmbr.

Use a windows boot floppy to restore the Master Boot Record (or see the Ultimate Boot CD to restore your MBR).

Start --> Run --> compmgmt.msc --> Storage --> Disk Management

Then just delete the linux partitions and reformat the space as whatever you want.

Or use GParted Live CD (see my signature) and do the same thing. If you're just installing another linux distro, you can just install it and let it overwrite the fedora partitions and MBR.
