uninstall app installed from source
 
i installed poedit program from source folder then i delete this source folder , what if i want to uninstall it ? when locate poedit it give :

i cant command make uninstall coz i dont have source file ?

Could it be as simple as removing every file with "poedit" in the name?

re download the source
rebuild it with the SAME install prefix as before
example

./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make uninstall
