Unform sending mail
I Have two Linux servers running Redhat in the same building. They should be pretty much identical twins.
But when sending mail out through unform on one server I get 12:37:08 Encoded send of customerservice@example.com 12:37:08 Client: Y3VzdG9tZXJzZXJ2aWNlQG9yaWdpbmFscGl6emEuY29t 12:37:08 Server: 334 UGFzc3dvcmQ6 12:37:08 Encoded send of password 12:37:08 Client: Q2hlZXNlMzM= 12:37:10 Server: 535 5.7.8 Error: authentication failed: UGFzc3dvcmQ6 12:37:10 Error 535 5.7.8 Error: authentication failed: UGFzc3dvcmQ6 on the backup server I get 12:22:59 Encoded send of customerservice@example.com 12:22:59 Client: Y3VzdG9tZXJzZXJ2aWNlQG9yaWdpbmFscGl6emEuY29t 12:22:59 Server: 334 UGFzc3dvcmQ6 12:22:59 Encoded send of password 12:22:59 Client: Q2hlZXNlMzM= 12:23:00 Server: 235 Authentication successful 12:23:00 Mail From 12:23:00 Client: MAIL FROM: <customerservice@example.com> 12:23:00 Server: 250 OK <customerservice@example.com> Sender ok 12:23:00 Mail To 12:23:00 Client: RCPT TO: <to@emailaddress.com> 12:23:00 Server: 250 OK <to@emailaddress.com> Recipient ok 12:23:00 Message data (detail suppressed) 12:23:00 Server: 250 OK 12:23:00 Quit 12:23:00 Client: QUIT what could be blocking the email from going on one server and not on the other? any help would be appropriated Thank you |
Also, The company switched providers it was working before from the main server with their old provider, but it still is very odd that it works on one and not the other.

It could be that it is only authorized when connecting from a specific IP number. Any other number is not allowed.
