Understanding System Performance Monitoring Tools Output
 
Hi all... with little experience... I hope there's someone who can help me understand the output of "top" and sysstat commands

Although I made the font monospace, tabs dont line up... but still hope you guys can explain the meaning of each heading of the output... Thanks!

How would that be better than what you get when you use man for each of those programs?

Your question is too general. Try man first. I expect you will understand most of the column descriptions it gives you.

If you ask about the specific headings that confuse you, with some detail about what aspect of the description in man you don't get, MAYBE some expert will explain. For most of those programs there is at least one heading that confuses me. So I'll be interested in reading those expert answers, if you get any.

But as it is, you've really just asked for someone to type in the man pages for those programs.
