understanding shell
 

Hello y'all hope the weekend was good? From my understanding, this is a unix based forum, not minding the name of the forum"linuxquestions.org. would like to get a good understanding of diffrent shells and its enviroment. I know right well that whichever shell you choose be it "bash", "ksh" or "sh" determines your commands and shell enviroment. I need to be corrected if am wrong please. So, the enviroment for bash shell runs its enviroment through the ~/.bashrc for regular users. Right? So, what I would like to know now is this, does every other shell has its own "rc" file like, ksh? Sh? Tch? If they do, would like to know their names for easy understanding. Thanks hope to read from you all or maybe someone soon. Lovely day.

Per user, there are configs in every user's home folder.
