Unable to Yahoomail in Thunderbird.
 

I am using Thunderbird mail client on Linuxmint8.I have successfully configured gmail as it doesn't require any incomingserver,outgoingserver,ports.,etc
But yahoomail requires configuration to be made.
please send me the required configuration settings.

AFAIK you must be a paid subscriber of Yahoo Mail Plus to use email programs like Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc., to access your Yahoo mail.
Did you looked at the yahoo helpcenter?

Are you using Yahoo Mail Plus?
POP access is not available in Yahoo Mail's free version. Hacks exist use them at your own risk. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/inter...bird-for-free/
