You need to check this out:
1. http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/
2. http://www.gnu.org/software/gdb/

OK. My another query is, like we have a visual Borland compiler in Windows, do we have any such Visual C/C++ compiler here in Linux?

Hi,

chmod +x - makes file executable.

You have to use ./ to specify that file you want execute is located in the current directory .
