Unable to use dual monitors in Linux Mint 18.1 on a thin client remote session using xfreerdp
Installed Linux Mint 18.1 on a Acer Thin Client, Dual monitors work great within Linux, but when using multiple different Remote clients to remote into windows remote session i have varying results. first i used remote desktop Client, i was able to get both screens working but only they were spanned, it worked but very cumbersome resizing windows.
second i tried xfreerdp which will only work won one monitor at a time. sudo lshw -c display *-display description: VGA compatible controller product: 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller vendor: Intel Corporation physical id: 2 bus info: pci@0000:00:02.0 version: 09 width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: msi pm vga_controller bus_master cap_list rom configuration: driver=i915 latency=0 resources: irq:27 memory:f7800000-f7bfffff memory:e0000000-efffffff ioport:f000(size=64) Im completely stumped trying to get this to work, any ideas would be great. |

I am a newby also but I saw this little article on 'ask ubuntu' This suggests trying 'X2Go' which should be available in Mint software Repository. Worth a try ! Good Luck |
