Question Unable to start Ubuntu on my dual os system

Hi all,

Per my request my son installed XP and Ubuntu(interested in learning Linux)in my computer. The installation went well and I was able to choose the system I wanted to work in from the menu. It worked for several months but now when I choose Ubuntu from the menu I longer get to the Ubuntu login screen. Does anyone have an idea what could have happened? I'd appreciate any help!

thanks,

rranoa

Well, what do you get when you try and boot into Ubuntu? Is there some kind of error message?
