unable to start httpd service


i Have centos 5.3 installed , while restarting httpd service i get error starting http:/bin/bash line 1 9941 segmentation fault /usr/sbin/httpd
if i stop httpd service and start it will start but if make service httpd restart it give above error

Just do a fresh installation of apache, instead.

yum remove httpd
yum install httpd
