Unable to run KDEdesktop of RHEL5 in my laptop

Hi,
While I install the RHEL 5 in my HP pavilion series laptop the GUI mode is not coming. And I am not able to run the GUI desktop by executing the command startx. Where as in a HCL laptop the GUI screen has no problem. Is there any H/W problem in my laptop?
Please help me out of this problem.

Show us the contents of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file and your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file
