Question Unable to retrieve Dropbox repository metadata in CentOS


hello, i'm using CentOS6 distribution.
i have the same problem as discussed here. i got the error message
"http://linux.dropbox.com/centos/6/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404"
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: Dropbox. Please verify its path and try again"

please help me, i can't use yum.

Actually the problem is not the same as in the cited thread (for this reason I have moved your post to a new thread). Here the error is 404 that means "File not found". Indeed, it appears the dropbox repository is not there anymore, even if this page in their FAQ mentions three available repos (ubuntu, debian and fedora). You may try to contact the dropbox people on their forum to ask for clarification.

In alternative you might try to install dropbox from one of the packages available here or from the provided source code.
