unable to restart network service


Hi,

im trying to restart the network service but getting below error.. please help me out..

[root@localhost Desktop]# service network restart

Bringing up interface eth0: Device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.

Why did you mark this thread SOLVED if you're having an issue?? And without details, there is nothing we can tell you past the obvious: your ethernet interface eth0 isn't present. Eth1 is, though (bolded a part of your post for emphasis only).

But you don't tell us anything about the machine, version/distro of Linux, hardware, etc., or what has changed since your last boot, what do you think we'll be able to tell you? And post things like this in CODE tags, to make them easy to read.
