Unable to ping outside of DHCP server on Suse Linux Enterprise
'm quite new to linux so please bare with me.
I have a network of 4 computers and a Suse Enterprise server. I configured the Suse box as a DHCP server.
The DHCP server (192.168.1.1 on eth0) is handling out ip addresses like it should. All of the computers have their own IP and are able to connect to the internet.
I am able to ping the DHCP server from other computers and ping computers on the network on the Suse box.
However I am not able to access the internet on the actual Suse box, or ping an external ip address or website.
If I change the eth0 from 192.168.1.1 to a automatic ip (ex .38) the box is able to access the internet.
I'm confused to why all of the machines can connect just fine but not the box.
If you need additional info please let me know, I will provide it asap.
Thank you,
Dmitrii
