Hi, I'm Rowe and I'm new in using linux.
I have a problem with regards to opening the open office. every time I open a document, I cannot view it. It says the application cannot be started. The user interface language cannot be determined. What's the possible cause on this? How will i correct this error? Please help me.
thank you so much.
Can you openopen office from a terminal and post the exact error message here?

/usr/share/themes/EdubuntuColors/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:77: Murrine confifuration option "hilight ration" will be deprecated in future releases. Pleasse update this theme to get rid of this warning.
I tried this command soffice --writer on my system, it worked properly
Then I tried oowriter, it also worked properly
