unable to open an initial consle message

hi all
i get a full image from system hard disk with acronis software but when i try to start computer with new harddisk(image) during the boot sequence this message appear"unable to open an initial console" and after this message boot process stop
any body help me pleas for solving this problem

Hi,

How did you image the filesystem? How did you build the new hdd with the image?

You might need to look at the image quality. You can use md5sum to insure the checksum of the created image is the same as the one that you copied/created.
