unable to mount root fs


While my slackware 9.1 was still working i mounted on win partitoin and tryed to copy some file (actually a driver for ati radeon card). but i made a badcpoy of file. And i restarted by pressing the reset button. Now when i try to boot the Linux i get this message:
Can not find reiserfs on ide 2
Kernel panic: VFS: unable to mount root fs on 21:02
I get the same message with my boot floppy.
What should I do ?
Please help

I would boot a rescue disk and try to fix the file system with fsck. The command is:
fsck -t reiserfs /dev/hdxx
where hdxx is whatever you mean by ide 2.
