unable to mount cdrom0


Hi,

I've rerouted my dvd drive and now it's on the same ribbon as my master hdd. it shows up on the Places menu in Gnome but i get this mssge when i try to use it?

mount: special device /dev/scd0 does not exist

What should i do?

Comment it out in your fstab.Or try changing /dev/scd0 to /dev/hdb [if not then hdc] and reboot to see if it works.
Also what's the o/p of:

sudo lshw -C disk
