Unable to login

So i have a problem this time... go figure. However, i know what is wrong this time....something new. But i don't know how to solve it.

I have centos, i can get to the GUI login screen and then i get this error on the bottom right. "install problem! the configuration defaults for Gnome power manager have not been installed correctly. please contact your computer administrator"

I believe that this is from the root directory being 100% full.
I confirmed this by pressing ctrl+alt+F2 then logging into the command line from there and running this
df -h
it says / is 100% in use
and my /home is only 2%

So my question is how can i fix this situation? By expanding / into /home? How?

Thanks again guys

i found that my virtual machines were taking up 70% of the space on / so i found where they were at mv them to my /home partition. I then rebooted and was able to login
