Unable to locate package zliblg-dev
I am using debian and I want to install open tracker in a virtual machine.
when i try to apt-get t¡... apt-get install make cvs zliblg-dev.... I got the following result. Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done E: Unable to locate package zliblg-dev I tried to checke simillar problems and i think downloading manually is the alternative. but i am not sure how to do it or if there is another better way of doing it. thank you for helping. |
It's probably a typo. Please try to install zlib1g-dev. You should use '1' (one) instead of 'L'.

yes it was a typo error, i did like what you said... used 1 in place of l and it worked.

opentracker in debian
I created three virtual machines so that I can try bittorent application. In machine one I configured opentracker, in maching two transmission and in machine three I want to download the a torrent file from machine 2. i have successfully done the first to, created a torrent file in machine two and the tracker has known about it.
when I tried to download the torrent file i created I got the following security question The authenticity of host '10.241.0.12 (10.241.0.12)' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is fe:98:7b:d8:b0:5c:75:80:11:3e:79:f3:70:33:0b:e2. Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? I typed yes and Enter. I put the password and got file.torrent 100% 22KB 21.7KB/s 00:00 But the download does not work for some reason i can not understand. My question here is: 1. Has the connection established when I approve by writing 'yes'? 2. As i am trying using a virtual machine, i do not have security concern and how can i disable the shh or RSA thing. I want to connect with not security check as i think this could be the reason preventing the download. Thank you |
