Post Unable to install lksctp-tool-1.0.6 at red hat linux 2.6.9-5.ELsmp

I am not able to install or run lksctp at my red hat box with os type 2.6.9-5.ELsmp.

I have installed the following rpms:

Even after successfully installing the package by running, ./configure, make, make install in the source directories the test suits make v4test is failing as test_assoc_abort process is reporting segmentation fault due to unsupported socket type SOCK_SEQPACKET.

The attempt to load sctp.ko module is also unsuccessful as "modprobe sctp" command just hangs is nothing happens.

Any clue for the problem?

Thanks in advance
